The goal of Backpack Buddies is to repurpose old backpacks with love and kindness, helping children in need, while promoting environmental sustainability and social responsibility. We aim to create a win-win situation for communities and our planet
Ongoing Project
Join Backpack Buddies: Make a Difference
The Backpack Buddies Project, in collaboration with Fundación Venezolana Pro-Cura de la Parálisis (Fundaprocura), is working to collect 260 used or new backpacks. These will be paired with a shipment of 260 wheelchairs, providing lower school-age children the opportunity to attend school, next Fall. We believe that each backpack will not only be filled with supplies but also with love and hope, offering these children a chance for a brighter future. Your help in this endeavor would greatly contribute to our mission of empowering children with disabilities to access education and thrive.
FundaProcura's mission is to enhance the lives of economically disadvantaged individuals with motor disabilities by providing them with the necessary support and resources. Through the provision of wheelchairs and dedicated assistance, they aim to facilitate their social, educational, and vocational integration. Their ultimate goal is to empower these individuals to lead independent and fulfilling lives.
